unix-tools.com was created by Vennerable Consulting as a service to help people with Unix problems. VC has been working on Unix machines since 1980.
unix-tools.com contains useful links to various Unix sites that have been found helpful during Vennerable Consulting's contracts either to help train staff or to solve system problems. We hope you will find these links useful as well.
Vennerable Consulting no longer maintains this site. I have taken over the care and feeding of unix-tools.com and hope to keep it as a useful resource for people needing Unix related information.

Currently this site is being expanded, adding information on various flavors of unix as well as links to interesting sites.
If you have a suggestion or would like to set up reciprocal links then let us know: We offer free reciprocal links to Unix-related sites.
unix-tools details
- Thanks to google.com and amazon.com for their affiliate programs.
- Up to this point all the html work was all done with an HTML editor on a (gasp!) Windows XP Alienware platform! Yeah, I know..., but City of Heroes doesn't run under Linux. :) Currently I'm moving over to DreamWeaver MX.
Still on the Windows platform, though.
- Headlines (RSS feeds) are handled by RSSequalizer.
- Email chores, such as they are at the moment, are handled by the AutomateYourWebSite people. Their systems offer total website automation. Pretty cool.
Enjoy the site and thanks for visiting
